Just finished the Plasencia Reserva Original Toro (6x50) and it’s a smooth, mellow smoke that offers more depth than you’d expect. Right from the first draw, you get clean notes of cedar, creamy earth, and a touch of natural sweetness, almost like honey or raw sugarcane. As it developed, flavors of toasted nuts, light cocoa, and a soft floral note added nice complexity. One thing that really stood out was the aroma—warm, slightly sweet, and incredibly inviting. Even when resting, the cigar gives off a scent that draws you in. The retrohale was gentle with sweet wood and a touch of spice. Burn had a few small waves but needed no corrections, and the draw was effortless. Overall, it’s a relaxing, flavorful smoke with a memorable aroma.

Solid stick. Had a milk chocolate bar during this smoke that complimented the flavors from the smoke perfectly. Had a slight tunnel from the start, but I truly believe this was due to me screwing up and lighting the cigar unevenly by mistake. Definitely want to try again. Sweet chocolate, caramel and a hint of cherry came through for the first half of the smoke. Slight random cayenne pepper on the retro. Second half burned with a little more kick. Pepper increased but never overpowered the inherent sweetness I found with this smoke

Wonderfully complex smoke! Initial notes of citrus and floral. Also tasted of cashews, almonds, creaminess (in smoke and flavor), bready, malty, caramel, and cedar, along with dried plum, white pepper, and ginger in the retrohale. I enjoyed this from light up to 0.5” nub. Full review forthcoming once I get my hands on a robusto or toro vitola. Easily one of the best cigars I’ve ever smoked.

Sweet tobacco and hay aroma. The first third is creamy, nutty, cedar, slightly spicy, slight floral, overall very mild. The halfway point dropped the cream and added some chilli spice. The last third was disappointing, with the flavours being replaced with straight tobacco and ash. Also smoked much longer than expected. Required two touch ups in the last half.

A very good stick! This light of a cigar isn't my usual, I generally go for Maduros, Oscuros and the like. But with a 92 from CA in 2022... Extremely smooth and creamy, hints of nuts, honey, spice and citrus. Very well made with a nice slow burn and a good amount of smoke.
