Sinistro

Repeated review after 21 months of rest. The profile presents bold espresso and some very rich cocoa. Wood tones and pepper also comes through periodically. The draw was smooth with just the right amount of resistance.

Aganorsa Leaf

The last time I smoked this cigar, it fell apart. This one smoked much better. The profile is simple with bread and spice, but the spice is stronger than expected for a Connecticut. The draw was perfect this time, allowing for a good burn.

FQ Cigars

First time smoking this brand. The flavor profile consisted of various wood tones, nuttiness, and a mix of sweet spices. The drawer was slightly tighter than desired, but the burn stayed fairly decent. Not a bad showing at all.

Sinistro

Second review with 4 months of rest. There's some slight differences from the first trial. The wrapper texture is oily where the previous one was dry. It is full of body, with notes of baking spices, floral undertones, and light coffee. The only true pepper is on the retro. The draw is generally smooth although a bit airy at times, but the burn needed no help this time.

Diesel

Continued review, now with 9 months rest. The flavor is definitely smooth now, with thick leather, minerals, and a zesty spice that left a tingle on the lips. The draw is smooth with a dry texture, creating a very even burn.

Privada Cigar Club

Another incredible LCA creation. The profile portrays a well balanced blend of wood, dark chocolate, and pepper. The construction is phenomenal, with a firm feel that produces a ton of smoke while keeping an even burn line.

Rojas

Second time smoking the Sumatra, with 6 months rest this time. Unfortunately, the extra rest did not help the terrible flavor improve. Just as last time, the blend only brought some spice and a ton of dirty bitter earth. Not enjoyable at all, which is rare for Rojas.

Jake Wyatt

Another new blend here. The profile presents a little bid of cedar, a lot of creamy tones, and a little bit of pepper on the retro. The construction is semi-firm with an oily wrapper, bringing a fairly smooth draw.

Jake Wyatt

Continued & consistent review. The flavor contains smooth spice and a touch of sweetness. Wood tones and leather come through as well. The burn try to run on one side but was corrected and stayed clean after. The draw smooth with just a touch of resistance.

Jake Wyatt

This is a full bodied cigar with surprising intensity. The profile brings out cedar, coffee, red pepper - but that pepper grows gradually the more it burns down. The draw was smooth, the burn was fairly even, and the construction felt solid.

Privada Cigar Club

This is one interesting cigar! The profile is complex, blending together meaty sweet smoke, citrus notes, and saltiness. The texture of the wrapper and smoke itself are dry and chalky. The draw is just about perfect, but the burn did need a couple corrections.

AJ Fernandez

This bad boy has some zing to it! There's a strong essence of pepper on the back of the palate, while other notes of leather and cinnamon come through as well. The draw is thick and chewy, producing a ton of smoke while keeping a very even burn line. Heads up though, the intense red pepper on the retro will knock your face off!

Viaje

This was a very underwhelming cigar for something with a name like TNT. The flavor profile was heavy on the wood and leather tones, but there was absolutely no strength to it. No pepper or spice came through at all, but there was a tad bit of bitterness in the final third. The best part of the cigar was the smooth draw that created a ton of smoke. I've got another I will let sit for a good while to see what happens.

Sinistro

This is an absolutely fantastic blend by Sinistro. The primary profile is slap full of bold espresso and very rich cocoa. Wood tones and pepper hits come in and out as well all the way through. The draw a smooth while the burn is incredibly slow and purposeful. Dark and bold in the best ways.

Patoro

Repeated review, with a blend of coffee, spice, and citrus notes. The the draw was incredibly smooth this round, but unfortunately the second half burned horribly, running up one side even with constant corrections.

Sinistro

Repeated review, from packs of the 2021 pre-release. Notes are full of charred cedar, a little pepper and some leathery tones. That pepper is stronger on the retro. This is a superb cigar that is constructed well with an almost perfect burn.

AJ Fernandez

Second review after an additional year of rest. This is a great smoke that's even smoother than before with rest. The profile is mixed with wood tones and pepper, adding a very clean draw. A very interesting cigar worth the time.

Arturo Fuente

The construction seemed a little flawed on this one. The burn continued to run horribly on one side and needed correction the entire way. Luckily, the flavor held true, although simple. Aged tobacco presents itself with a touch of cedar and spice that stays full.

Dapper

Very consistent and favored reviewed if this discontinued blend, this one from 2014. The flavors bring out cedar notes with some sweet grassy notes. Red pepper comes through, especially in the retro. Clean draw and burn as always.

Cigar Clowns

This is an odd cigar. Containing tobacco from Russian & Transylvania, the profile is different than expected. The flavors consist of dark earth, sweet spices, and undetermined savory spice. The burn is clean, but the draw was too airy due to loosely rolled tobacco.

Dapper

Repeated and consistent review, with this one from 2014. A sweet aroma with a grassy, sweet, cedar-like profile with strong notes of red pepper. Perfect draw and decent burn line. Great cigar that's a favorite.

God of Fire

Repeated & similar review. The flavor brought subtle notes of cinnamon and some other spice that leaves a tingle on the pallet. Unfortunately this time it was a little bitter randomly. Clean burn, but the draw was very smooth this time.

Sinistro

With 16 months of rest, this rustic looking cigar smoked as smooth as anything else. The flavor profile brought out a ton of dark chocolate and black pepper. There was a lot of smoke due to a very smooth draw.

Plasencia

Repeat cigar, first time with the super small size. Fuller spice than the larger sizes, with a subtle blend of nuts and honey. Insanely smokey with a clean pull. The draw was just about perfect.

Room 101

Full of spice all around, this cigar also brings along notes of leather and general pepper. The draw is smooth, presenting decent smoke output, with a born that needed no help.

Plasencia

A repeated & almost duplicate review. Coffee, cream, and a little backend spice join in this blend for a boldly balanced profile. The construction, draw, and burn where all immaculate.

God of Fire

Repeated review. A smooth cigar in flavor with subtle notes of cinnamon and some other spice that leaves a tingle on the pallet. Clean burn, but the draw was a little too open this time.

Alec Bradley

A visually intriguing cigar with a decent flavor profile, which brings out some nuttiness, pepper, and coffee. The burn needed quite a few corrections, but the draw was fairly smooth.

Lost & Found

This was a banger smoke! The flavor brings out a ton of oak balanced with spicy pepper notes. The draw was flawless with an immense smoke output. The burn waved a tad bit needed no corrections.
