I was initially worried this would be a dud, as there was initially no flavor beyond simple tobacco. However, after about an inch of burn, multiple flavors appeared all at once - leather, baking spice, red pepper. The burn on the retro was intense as well. The smoke output was insane!

Raices Cubanas

Initially trying this blend at PCA, this marks the first smoke in the full gordo. The profile consisted of clean tobacco, floral notes, and just a touch of spice that lingers on the tongue. The balance was a tad smoother in the larger format. The draw was still clean, allowing for a very even burn.

Oliva

Continued & duplicate review. 21 months rest now, and they've been really consistent since the one year mark. The flavor is full of nuts, sweet spice and pepper. The draw is smooth, the burn was very even, and the smoke output is solid.

Apostate

Last one I smoked a year ago had failed construction, this one was much better. The burn stayed fairly even. The flavor was decent, mostly consisting of hay and a mixture of spices. Does not have a strong profile but is well balanced.

Aganorsa Leaf

The flavor profile was mostly linear but also very consistent. Notes consisted of wood, cocoa, and just a touch of white pepper towards the end. And almost anise-like flavor popped in continuously throughout as well. The draw was smooth, and the burn stayed very even overall.

Diamond Crown

A reliable flavorful & elegant smoke. Primary notes consist of dark chocolate, cedar, and some molasses. The pepper very gradually increases but stays well balanced. Not overly smokey while producing a ton of flavor.

Padilla

Continued review. With 20 months of rest on the box, this one has stayed super smooth. This one is a very simple cigar with notes of wood & leather. The draw and burn are both steady and even.

La Palina

Last one from the pack purchased 2 years ago. Nearly duplicated review, but this one has a little bit of a bitter aftertaste. The construction was solid, allowing for a very smoky draw and very clean burn. The flavors were still mostly dark chocolate, earth, and a hint of something spicy.

Bandido Cigars

Repeated review. This one has 16 months of rest since purchase. The profile is a clean simple blend with notes of wood and touches of black pepper. Very smooth draw and clean burn.

Really enjoying it. Would definitely smoke again. Absolutely box worthy.

Liga Privada

It's been a couple years since I've smoked this blend. Just opened this box that's been resting for 21 months. Well blended flavors of wood and spice come though with a very heavy smoke output. The burn waved a couple of times in need of some corrections.

Crowned Heads

Repeat review of a great blend. This one was purchased 6 months ago and burned incredibly well. The medium profile provides notes of spice, cinnamon, and some woodsiness. The output was smoky and very pleasurable.

HC Series

Received in trade, a decent smoke during the day. The mixed wrappers enabled a cross of flavors, primarily between pepper and some espresso notes. Although the draw was tighter than expected, it burned very smooth all the way.

Rock-A-Feller

Repeated review of the 2025 version. Small in size, but mighty in flavor. Full of dark coffee and pepper, with a slightly tight draw to it. The burn was decent on this one making a good quicker smoke.

Caldwell

With almost 2 years of rest since purchase, here's the Colorado Corojo version of the One Night Stand. The profile here leans more to wood and mineral notes. The draw was smooth and open, with a fairly decent draw. An easy smoke in general.

Jake Wyatt

Repeated review of one of the few candelas I enjoy. The flavor consists of creamy pepper and cedar, the the expected butter grass from many candelas. The burn was fantastic with a decent draw.

El Viejo Continente

After two years of rest, this cigar finally burned well. The first two I smoked from the same pack burned terribly. The profile now brought heavy wood tones and black with a very smoky output. A little spice on the retro finishes the presentation.

Romeo y Julieta

Repeated review. This one is sitting at about 20 months of rest. The flavor includes leather with subtle hints of spice and wood. The draw and burn are both very consistent due to solid construction in the roll.

Cubano Cigars

These barber poles always tend to burn funny due to the different wrappers so it was expected to see that here. It didn't affect the draw at all. Great combination of flavors!

Alec Bradley

Still pulling from a well rested box, this one now has 3 full years of rest in the humidor. The flavor is consistent with mild spice and coffee notes. The draw is open and smooth while the burn still remains very even. Fairly consistent cigar.

Raymond Pages

Continued review, now at 20 months rest. The flavor has continued to become improved with a decent profile compared to first purchase, with some pepper and cinnamon. The draw was smooth now, but the burn again needed a little help.

Rocky Patel

Although generally a good cigar, this one is simpler than would be expected from an anniversary blend. The flavor consists of simple wood & coffee that doesn't change much. The draw was open and rather smoky, but the burn did need a few touch-ups.

German Engineered Cigars

A new blend introduced at PCA26, this one was pretty interesting. The flavor profile was complex, consisting of a honey-like grass note, a touch of leather, dark espresso, and a little bit of bright pepper. Even in the shorter test format, the draw and burn were practically immaculate.

FQ Cigars

First time smoking this brand. The flavor profile consisted of various wood tones, nuttiness, and a mix of sweet spices. The drawer was slightly tighter than desired, but the burn stayed fairly decent. Not a bad showing at all.

Diesel

This one has improved since the first test, now with 18 months of rest. The flavors are still simple with dark coffee and some saltiness, with an added touch of black pepper now. The draw was great, and the burn was infinitely better than last time.

Oliva

Smooth yet rich and complex retrohale.

Tatuaje

Repeated review of a good cigar. The profile is full of black pepper and savory spice notes. There smoke output is solid due to the clean draw. The slow combustion produces an absolutely razor line of a burn.

Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust

Consistent review, this one has just over 3 years of rest since purchase. Notes are of gentle earth blended with smoother profiles of leather and woodsiness. The draw had a slow clean resistance to it, while the burn stayed fairly even.

Adventura

Another one on the short belicoso vitola. Reliable blend with a hit of spice. The cigar smoothes down to a super clean blend of sweet molasses with hints of coffee. An almost flawless burn with a very open draw.
