Consistent review, this one has just over 3 years of rest since purchase. Notes are of gentle earth blended with smoother profiles of leather and woodsiness. The draw had a slow clean resistance to it, while the burn stayed fairly even.

Paired with an eggnog latte and a morning rainstorm. I never smoke in the morning. Something has gotten into me. First third is a lot of cedar, some leather, and a bit of cream and almond. The cream drops out and the almond transitions to a rich cherry sweetness. Delicious. Strength ticks up around the halfway point. I am reminded that I haven’t eaten any food today. The cherry transitions to a molasses and the leather becomes more bold. Burn is all over and requires touch ups, which is likely user error. The final third maintains the woodsiness and leather that was prevalent for the middle third, but adds back in some amaretto sweetness. Or maybe I’m just full of it
