Repeated review, now with a little over a year of rest. A smooth yet bold blend with dark coffee and cocoa notes. A slightly airy draw but a decent burn. A good cigar overall with a fairly smooth retro.

First time with this new blend, and it sure is interesting. The notes from all the various wrappers come through in full force. Sweetness, spice, pepper, grassy notes - all coming in and out of frame. The wrappers never unraveled, as the construction was done well. Smooth draw and a lot of smoke.

Construction is stellar, but the blend seems like it's missing something. The flavor profile is incredibly weak, only pulling through dry chalk and a super subtle hint of cedar. Nothing else comes through. With 3 months rest since purchase, I'll let the rest of the pack sit a bit longer.

This is a very dark & oily blend in general. The flavors consist of charred oak, earth, and dark coffee. The retro is very peppery as well. There's a smooth draw with some slight resistance, but it maintains a clean burn.

A smooth but bold blend with some dark coffee and cocoa. These are usually great cigars, but this one was missing some filler and burned VERY fast, the combustion was uncontrollable. Somehow the draw remained decent enough to get decent flavor.

Continued review, now at 12 months rest. A somewhat minty aroma led to a profile mixed of cocoa with some medium spice notes. The draw was smooth but a tad tight, but the burn was steadily even. Appearance is exceptional as always. These have smoothed out well with extra rest.

Repeated review, now with 11 months of rest. Still pretty sure that the actual size is larger than the 54 gauge advertised. The wrapper had a few cracks on this one, but it did not hinder the cigar. Notes of nuttiness, wood, and gentle spice comes through with a clean draw.

A very well constructed cigar with 8 months of humidor time. Flavor notes are very smooth with notes of leather and baking spice. The second half brings a hazelnut flavor. The draw is smooth with a perfect burn.

Updated review, now with 7 months of rest since purchase. The draw is now perfect and the flavors come through better. Flavors are mostly nuttiness, wood, and very subtle spice. The wrapper held up better. Seems this blend needed the extra rest time.

In terms of flavor, this is actually a pretty smooth candela. There is some sweetness to it with a little citrus and grassy note that does not overpower or turn bitter. However, the wrapper was so fragile that it continuously cracked in various places. The binder and the rest of the construction remained solid and the burn somehow stayed true.
