Released through LCA 3 years ago, this cigar was elegantly smooth. The tobacco was rich with notes of espresso, cocoa, and some stone fruit. Subtle notes of pepper appeared at times also. The draw was open with a lot of smoke output. A fantastic quicker smoke.

Camacho

Repeated review with 20 months of rest. This cigar provides some sweetness while also full of coffee, chocolate, and wood tones. The draw was smooth on this one with a very decent burn line.

CoCo Cana Cigars

Last of the pack I grabbed of this local Dominican cigar I grabbed at the port 2 years ago. It holds a sweet aroma with bright floral notes. The flavor is linear but has a good draw with solid form. The burn stayed true and even.

Jose L. Piedra

Continued review, over a year of rest now. Although machine-made, these cigars price to be solid easy smokes. The flavor brings out clean tobacco with a touch of wood tones. The draw was smooth this time, and the burn stayed very even.

Adventura

Very consistent review here, and the short belicoso format keeps performing well. Dark chocolate and espresso are prominent in a bold experience, with a clean burn and appearance. Very smooth draw & firm construction.

Partagas

4th review of this size, which has been very consistent & easy to enjoy. The flavor is rich & creamy with a lot of leather tones. Purchased in Barcelona Spain last year, and each one gets better. The draw was ever so slightly tighter than the previous ones, but it smoked slow and even.

Loaisiga Cigars

First time trying this newer brand. The wrapper has a sheen to it with a clean overall appearance. Although it felt a little soft, it smoked very well, with an incredibly open draw and even burn. The flavor profile was a little weak at first, but gradually introduced some coffee notes with baking spice. Subtle notes of leather crept through as well.

Vasco da Gama

4th review, purchased 15 months ago in Portugal. Each cigar from the pack has remained very consistent, especially considering it's a budget roll. The flavor brings out honey and baking spice. The wrapper had a little pinch at the middle but it still smoked perfectly.

Padron

I usually lean Maduro in this line, but the Natural does go well with coffee. The profile introduces a rich and nutty blend of cocoa with some pepper mixed in. The retro is smooth with only a touch of pepper appearing. Good draw and burn.

Macanudo

Second time trying this blend. The draw was a much smoother this time, and the burn stayed fairly decent. The smoke output was also improved, allowing for the dark espresso, cedar and pepper to come through nicely.

Havana 1958

First time trying anything made my Hoyo De Cuba. The elegance and likeness to a traditional Cuban is really recognizable. The draw is easy and smooth, producing flavors of leather, cedar, and baking spice. An intense pepper always on the retro to finish out the profile.

Hooten Young

First time with this one thanks to a friendly trade. I expected the shape to hinder the draw, but it stayed amazingly smooth. The flavor leaned into subtle but bright pepper mixed with some floral notes. The burn also remained fairly even. A very enjoyable cigar.

Sinistro

Repeated review after 21 months of rest. The profile presents bold espresso and some very rich cocoa. Wood tones and pepper also comes through periodically. The draw was smooth with just the right amount of resistance.

Miami Cigar & Co.

First time trying this line after getting a pack of various vitolas. First off, the sweetened cap is so sweet it takes over the profile until it wears down. What's left of the profile later on presents some cocoa and black pepper, with only a touch of that pepper showing on the retro. The draw was fantastic, but the burn needed a little help to stay even.

Artesano Del Tobacco

Repeated review. This is a dark and oily blend that portrays black pepper, bold espresso, and dark chocolate. This one stays bold without turning bitter. A ton of smoke output is supported by a clean draw and fairly even burn.

Black Star Line

I've come to really enjoy this one in the pig vitola. This one brings out notes of chocolate, pepper, leather and a sweet honey texture that shows up about halfway in. The draw is open and produces a massive amount of smoke! The burn was fantastic as well.

La Flor De Zaida

This is an absolutely dark and bold cigar. The first draw brought out notes of incredibly robust coffee and earth. Notes of black pepper come through on the retro, but not super intense. All the power starts on the palate. The draw was smooth and open with a ton of smoke.

Ara'o Cigars

First impression introduced a very dry wrapper that seemed to be rolled well. This held true as the draw was very smooth. However, the flavor was absolutely terrible. It tasted like burnt s'mores. The underlying wood tone was bitter (hence burnt not charred). The good flavors struggled to make it out due to that bitterness. The burn did stay fairly decent. The flavor score definitely held this rating down.

Davidoff

Always love this cigar, this one has been resting for two years. Dark chocolate and almond comes through balanced with just the right amount of spice. No harsh tones, great smoke. Perfect draw and an absolutely great burn line.

Bella Dama

First off, the cigar is heavy and unfortunately overpacked. My draw tool was barely able to poke through and didn't help much. The draw was very tight and took awhile to open up as it burned down. Eventually, the flavor opened up with notes of honey, pepper, and citrus. The burn somewhere managed to remain almost perfect.

Los Statos

Been awhile since I've enjoyed this cigar. Purchased this one 20 months ago. Super bold notes of coffee, pepper, and dark chocolate. Although bold, the flavors blended together nicely. A little earthiness comes through at times as well. A clean draw and almost perfect burn.

H. Upmann

Repeated & consistent review. Purchased this one in Spain last year. An elegant & smooth cigar that's easy to smoke. The profile brings out flavors of leather, light coffee, a little nuttiness, and a touch of caramel. The draw is open with a very clean burn.

Dissident

It's been awhile since I've enjoyed one of these. This one is the 2021 edition. Super dark and robust flavor with a hit of pepper at the first draw. Strong pepper comes through on the retro. Although the profile is darker, the creamy feel keeps it bold without being too harsh. Great draw and decent burn as well.

Similar to the original Blue Label, but it feels even darker & bolder. The profile hits hard with black pepper, earth, and dark coffee notes. Although the construction felt a bit spongy, the burn stayed true with a smooth open draw.

Crowned Heads

There's something nutty about the profile of the EL2021, but it also has some sweet undertones to it. Having some age on it, the draw was smooth and clean. The burn remained fairly even the whole way through as well.

With 18 months of rest on the box, this one gets smoother each time. Profile produces a balance of pepper or spice throughout. A fairly level burn, but this one particular stick seemed to smoke much faster than the rest of the box has so far.

Camacho

Repeat review. A full strength cigar that provides just a touch of sweetness while being full of coffee, chocolate, and woodsiness. A smooth draw and burn creates an exciting smoke session.

Arturo Fuente

Consistent review. Exceptional in construction as would be expected. The flavor profiles is simple, but the aged tobacco presents itself with a touch of maple and spice that stays full. Great smoke overall.

Ferio Tego

This one is full of flavors related to coffee, wood, and leather. Even though the construction is firm and solid, the draw is incredibly smooth. I only wish those flavor notes were stronger. Still, it burns evenly with no concerns at all.

Espinosa

Here's to another good bold cigar! I personally like this blend over the standard KS blends. The flavor profile is primarily cocoa and pepper, with random pops of nuttiness. The draw is perfect and the burn only needed some minor touch-ups. Great appearance and oily wrapper.
