Aged 3mo. Burn a little uneven. Draw was great after drilling through the rock hard packed head. Medium cigar with flavor of earth, nut and cedar. It’s balanced and flavorful. Paired great with the citrus Blue Moon.
In humidor 1 month. Burn is good. Had to use perfecdraw. Mostly cedar and almond flavor with a touch of spice. A little boring. Paired with matcha tea.
Nice dark habano wrapper, tightly packed with almost no give. wood and cinnamon scent. The cold draw shows spice and barnyard. Strong flavor, spice from the get go. It gets milder in the second third. It keeps evolving, with a lot of spicy, earthy notes in the second and more earth in the last third. Quite strong in the end… it almost knocked me out when I smoked it to the nub. It went out a couple times in the last third. Stronger than I really like.
My first Upmann! A very pleasant smoke. Tightly rolled and takes a bit of effort on the draw. I like the Figurado. Easy to hold in the mouth. See flavor notes for more detail. Overall, quite enjoyable with my 12-year Yellow Spot Irish.
Another great smoke for $6.25! Price justifies a lot! Good, even burn from start to finish. It even stayed lit with long periods between puffs. It had an earthy, leathery taste with hints of pepper and nuts throughout. It was mild with an easy draw using a straight cut. I would definitely buy another. It was paired with water and watermelon juice! I think the sweet drink brought out the best in this stick.
The worst tunneling I've ever experienced. I let it burn out and cut it past the hole and it ended up smoking fine after that. Bummer since it had really good flavor from the start. Almost a fire cured taste.
