Better than the last try, where the burn was absolutely horrible. This is still a pretty simple cigar. The only notes are of wood and some light pepper coming through the retro. The draw was smooth, however.

Consistent review. The flavor brings strong red pepper with notes of cocoa, leather, and coffee. A very smokey cigar the entire way. An easy draw with decent smoke. The burn tried to run this time but corrected itself.

Carlos Torano

Continued review. The profile remains of wood & citrus, with a little leather underneath. The draw is easy, and the burn was fairly decent. A more basic smoke that seems to stay reliable.

Diesel

A fairly simple cigar in terms of flavor, which mostly just included dark coffee and some saltiness. It was full in body but not particularly too strong. The draw was great, but the burn was absolutely horrible, needing corrections every inch to keep it from running fast on one side.

AJ Fernandez

Cedar, bright pepper, and some sweet spice and blend together in this is one. The smooth draw produced a decent amount of smoke that let the flavors come together nicely. A slow even burn rounded out the session.

Rocky Patel

I believe this is my first time smoking one of these. Although it burned down very quickly for a gordo, it was a pretty good smoke. The flavor consisted of cocoa and some sweet spices. The draw was almost too open, but the burn stayed level.

Southern Draw

Consistent review. This one has almost 2 years of rest on it. Good flavor notes with coffee, chocolate, and a little pepper. Smooth draw this time with a perfect burn.

Cohiba

More rustic in appearance, the cigar held up very nicely. The flavor produced a heavy oak tone blended with various savory spices. Although the burn tended to wave at times, the draw was open and produced a good amount of smoke.

La Perla Habana

This is a little powerhouse, with powerful notes of earth, leather, and sweet spice. With an easy draw, there was a ton of smoke, and the draw was just about perfect.

Diesel

Revisited this one after awhile. The dark and bold profile stays consistent without being bitter. The flavor consists mostly of dark chocolate with undertones of black pepper. The draw was smooth, and the burn only needed a couple minor corrections.

Partagas

I've had the Maduro blend a few times, but this may be my first time having the Natural blend. This one throws homage to the Cuban version with a mix of Cuban-seeded tobacco that brings out a ton of creamy earth and pepper. An easy smoke that was very enjoyable.

Ave Maria

Repeated review, this one with 15 months of rest. A milder cigar with notes of chocolate, leather, and spice. A flloral note pops in at times but tapers off. Very smooth draw but fast burn.

Erin Go Bragh

An interesting infusion. The whiskey hit is strong at first then gradually tapers off. The profile also brings a subtle zing to the pallet with a generous pepper hit on the retro. The burn needed several corrections, but the draw remained very smooth.

Consistent & duplicate review, among my favorite dark smokes. A killer super bold blend, full of oak, leather, espresso & spice. Great draw & burn the entire way.

Cohiba

For the most part, this is a very consistent cigar. The flavor notes remain fairly linear, with no transitions. However, the profile brings out charred word and a creamy undertone, with a bright white pepper hit coming on the retro. The draw was open with a ton of smoke output.

AJ Fernandez

Repeated review, 14 months rest. Still a better cigar than you would expect it would be. The flavor profile is full of wood, leather, and spice. The draw is super smooth with the perfect resistance, maintaining a pretty even burn.

La Herencia Cubana

This one comes out with a punch! The profile starts off with incredibly dark coffee, earth, and black pepper. As the smoke burns down, the intensity gradually backs off but stays well blended. The burn continuously waved, but it repeatedly fixed itself. The draw was open and very smokey.

Repeat review - now at 2 years rest. Rich tobacco and espresso, with leather and pepper blended in on the backend. Very solid with no corrections, and the draw was only a tad tight. A good reliable repeater.

Baccarat

A good cigar that contains a generally basic profile. The flavor consists mostly of light coffee with white pepper. The draw stays very smooth, but the burn took turns waving on each side. A decent cigar, just not a great one.

Aganorsa Leaf

Consistent review! A smooth open draw presents a smooth profile full of sweet floral notes and aged tobacco, including just the right amount of spice. The burn stayed even the entire way.

Ave Maria

Showcasing bands of the Knights Templar, this cigar's appearance is incredible. The flavor brings out a chalky essence full of chocolate, wood, little zesty but sweet spice, and a very flavorful retro. The draw was absolutely perfect, while the burn needed a few touch ups to stay even. Overall a great cigar.

Asylum

Continued review, smokes this one after work relaxing in the cold. Heavy pepper and espresso, very spicy the entire smoke. The draw was smooth this time around, while the burn stayed fairly even. A little over a year of rest.

Man O' War

Pretty sure this is the first time trying the Armada. Pleasantly surprised, this turned out to be a great cigar. The flavor profile consists of creamy caramel, dark chocolate, and black pepper. The cigar stayed smooth the entire way. The only negative hit was the burn that tried to run on one side until corrected.

Southern Draw

Consistent review. This one has 22 months of rest on it. These cigars present good flavor notes with coffee, chocolate, and a little pepper. Tight draw again this time but still a good burn that did not hinder the flavors from coming through.
