It was a very good complex and well balanced cigar. Medium to full-bodied. I think it’s a cigar that could be smoked anytime of the day and be enjoyed.
I love Perdomo Lot 23s so I was excited to pick this up.
I'm not the biggest fan of box pressed cigars (ironically) but this one was great.
The draw was perfect.
The construction held up nicely.
It started to canoe a little bit once but I was able to fix it and then it burned fine the rest of the time.
The flavor wasn't anything mind blowing but it was good.
It was a little creamy during the first 3rd with some earthy notes mixed in.
It got a little richer in the 2nd 3rd but was enjoyable.
I don't prefer super heavy, dark cigars usually so this was a nice medium full cigar to enjoy on the 4th of July.

Lots of black pepper on first light. That goes away pretty quick, but whenever you want it peppery you can get it on the retro-hale, which is zippy. Notes of oak, mild cocoa, some hay, maybe even a little must. Great draw, burn was a bit inconsistent. Not my favorite but didn’t hate it. Would smoke again but won’t be in regular rotation.

Shape and size great. Bolder at the foot mellows out to a medium body. Full flavor mid body, very nice. Gets even better closer to the crown. Draw was was tighter in the first half, opened up in the second. Good go to smoke with the boys.
Large peice of wrapper was damaged under the label. Not from glue. This led to massive fraying in the last third. Also found a blue line on the binder. Does anyone have ideas in what that line is for?
