Continued & duplicate review. 16 months rest now, and they're been dead consistent since the one year mark. The flavor is full of nuts, sweet spice and pepper. The draw is smooth, the burn is fairly even, and the smoke output is solid.

I put off buying one of these for over a year because I thought the name was stupid. I still think the name is dumb but the smoke is just as enjoyable as what it’s named after and I am a lover of a good steak. Definitely plan on getting some more of these.

Continued review. Super bold profile, full of coffee, black pepper, and various spices. The boxpressed feel enables a clean draw with a ton of smoke. Solid construction and elegant appearance. The burn wouldn't stay even, but it still smoked well.

Repeated review, a very reliable smoke. The flavor is a steady blend of earth and spice. Construction is always solid, as the burn and draw remain smooth and even.

Repeated review. A well blended profile of leather and sweet pepper. The wrapper appearance is rugged but smokes fairly decent. The draw was im smooth, and the burn only needed a couple touch-ups.

Consistent review, just over a year of rest. A full strength cigar that provides just a touch of sweetness while being full of coffee, chocolate, and woodsiness. The draw was tighter this time than before, but it didn't hinder the flavors and it still burned well.

I've had this plan many times, but this may be the first time in the Gordo. Still mild at first, but the sweet spice gradually comes up to get your attention. There's a little earthiness that comes through with that spice mix. The retro is intense but remains smooth. Perfect draw and fast burn, but excellent construction.

Repeat review, with a slight modification. Perfect burn this time with a clean draw. Blended flavor of chocolate, coffee, earth, and a touch of pepper. However, there were some horribly bitter & fermented notes this time that usually aren't present.

Been awhile since I've had this one. The mellow body provides an easy balance of coffee with subtle hints of sweet chocolate. There is no harsh bite and the burn was incredibly even. The draw was more open in this vitola.

Great smoke. Even burn. Maybe a faster burn than others but just right for a day tending the smoker. I got a leather flavor. I’m a new smoker so that’s the best I can detect for now. I enjoyed this cigar and will definitely purchase again.

With 6 months rest, this was the first of several I've had to blow up on me. I wish I had taken a photo of it. The flavor was still present with nuts, sweet spice and pepper. Unfortunately, it took some care to keep the burn even. Pretty sure it's a one-time fluke. Smoked in Alicante Spain.
