La Flor Dominicana

This is a beautiful, large cigar in LFD’s signature chisel shape with a dark Sumatra wrapper. Firm, well packed as you’d expect from a box pressed cigar. Nice cedar and sweet aroma, sweet cold draw. A straight cut and light and you get plenty of smoke and earthy, cedar and coffee notes for starters. The cigar draws perfectly and the burn is even throughout. Very well aged Tobacco, full flavored with a hint of spice. Didn’t get a lot of transitions but enjoyed it from beginning to end. A very good celebration cigar, though on the pricier side. Worth smoking!

Beautiful cigar with a dark, toothy, oily wrapper. Well packed, firm, almost no give, no soft spots. Fig sweetness in the cold draw. very good draw with lots of creamy smoke. Bold cedar and chocolate notes paired with sweetness out of the gate. Full flavored, rich, but also balanced and smooth throughout. An eminently enjoyable, box worthy cigar. Now I need to try the Mi Querida Triqui Traca to see what a habano wrapper does to this blend. For now, I think I found a new ew favorite

Don Pepin Garcia

Nice connecticut wrapper, well rolled, few veins. Well packed, no soft spots. Great draw, good, white, creamy smoke. Starts mellow, with hay and creamy, graham cracker notes. Light nuttiness. Consistently smooth until it turns bitter in the last third. Went out once and to relight it. Overall not a bad Connecticut for the price

Sarto

Nice dark, toothy broadleaf wrapper. Well packed, no soft spots. Sweet, flavorful, dark, cedar and coffee notes. Great, even burn. Well aged tobacco, Wonderfully complex, balanced, smooth… Great cigar!

Warped

Nice light wrapper, well packed cigar, no soft spots. Creamy smoke, hay and sweet (honey) cracker from the start. Very smooth, mellow, complex and balanced throughout. One of the best mild cigars I’ve had so far.

Tatuaje

Nice dark small cigar, kind of rustic, toothy wrapper. Good draw, pleasant leather and coffee notes and a light spice at the start. Leather and coffee stay throughout, the cigar is balanced with a pleasant bitter notes but no harshness. Full flavored but not too strong (medium?). Turned bitter at the end. An enjoyable, bold, full bodied and inexpensive cigar worth trying.

My Father

Ncely rolled cigar, light Connecticut wrapper almos seamless, no visible veins, well packed, no soft spots. Hay and grassy notes on the wrapper. Cold draw slightly sweet. Good, creamy smoke, even burn. Plenty of pepper out of the gate, grassy notes, After 1 inch the pepper recedes, but doesn’t go totally away, grass and hay stay. Strength is medium, this is no mild cigar, quite flavorful. Some bitterness arises in the last third. Not my flavor profile.
