Always a good smoke here. The profile brings out an immediate pull of pepper that tapers down into coffee and wood. As the pepper fades away towards the end, some licorice comes through. Great draw and very smokey on output. 18 months rest on this one.

Burning down the last cigar of the first box i ever bought. I purchased the box in 2015 and these had quite the bitter flavor that made them less pleasant to smoke than most folks prefer. I didn't mind the bitterness, after all I love IPAs, but smoking it with a decade of age made a huge difference. Pre-light, i noticed the smell off of the wrapper was almost sweet, like it fermented even more while aging. After lighting, i noticed that there is no more bitterness and the flavor has become very hay-like, oaky, and leathery. Halfway through, the flavor really popped and I started tasting coffee bean and a nuttiness close to walnut, especially in the retrohale. This stick gets a bad rap in a lot of the communities I see, but with 10 years of age, it's one of the best cigars I've smoked this year.

Lots of barnyard with vanilla notes on the nose and cold draw. Very nice aroma with cherry wood. Vanilla stays in the smoke with pine wood slight spice which mellow when you slow down. The middle comes in with more creaminess and graham cracker shading on gingerbread. Had after a nice pizza dinner

Very good cigar. Taste was very good. First Wirth this one. However, the draw was not good. Multiple relights needed. Smoking outside however its dead calm out. The draw was irritating big time.

Rocky Patel is known for an extensive portfolio. With so many lines, it’s extremely difficult to get consistency. Keep in mind, Rocky doesn’t grow all of his own tobacco. The vintage 1992 was a decent cigar and for a toro, it’s priced at $12 per cigar but for me that’s a little too high. I’d still recommend it and see for yourself.

One of my go to cigars. A lot of great roasted notes of leather and plum. Toward the middle it takes on some graham cracker flavors that compliment the dark fruit character.
