Unlimited flavor....
Diesel Unlimited is the epic new follow-up to the epic original Diesel! Unlimited is rich, complex, full-bodied and ultra-flavorful....carefully crafted into 4 stately, big ring vitolas and booming with gobs of flavor, boldness, denseness and complexity. In spades. Then double it. Then multiply by six. That's about right.
Diesel Unlimited is fitted with a dark, Habano Ecuador ligero wrapper leaf - oozing with oils, it looks like a tasty chocolate candy bar. Rich long-leaf filler tobaccos from Condega and Esteli Nicaragua meld with spicy San Andres leaves to create a strikingly robust and randy blend with intensely lush flavors. Expect notes of leather, spice, earth and oak, rounding out its toasty tobacco core. Smooth, slow-burning, zesty, full-flavored. Unlimited.
A very heavy firm cigar. Draw was a little tight but good in my opinion. Good but not great, probably would have been better if I’d smoked it sooner, been all but forgotten in my humidor for probably 7 years or more. But overall one that I would gladly light up again.
Second cigar of the night, much stronger than the first. Earthy, leathery, with some coffee notes. The burn was a bit uneven and I had to touch it up once in a while.
Very nice smoke tonight. Leathery, oak, and earthy with a subtle cherry sweetness. Solid all the way through. Started with a punch cut but the burn was a bit faster on one side so I clipped the end with a straight cut and that evened out the burn perfectly. Draw was a little tough but I wasn't fighting it. Less smoke output than I thought it would have but the flavor was right on. It was fairly complex but around a year in the humidor mellowed it out slightly. 2+ inch tight ashes and an even burn down to the nub. One of my go-to Diesels.
Solid smoke while manning the grill. Diesel cigars are surprisingly delicious every time I light one up. Not that I expect them to be bad. They just consistently exceed my expectations. Can’t wait to have another!
Spicy and leathery. Used a guillotine cut and toasted the foot with a butane torch. Great even burn and perfect draw. This cigar is consistently flavorful and has a razor sharp burn throughout. The spiciness hasn't subsided, the leather flavor and aroma turned more oak and nutty with a slight vanilla sweetness reminiscent of a cup of espresso. A slight toothless shows more on the ash than the wrapper. Easygoing, relaxing full-bodied cigar on a beautiful fall day. Some small spots on the wrapper make it look a little less than beautiful.
