Aganorsa Leaf

Consistent review of a spicy smoke. The profile brings a sweet spice profile, while the pepper blends well for an incredibly smooth feel. The wood notes and leather come through balanced. The draw was just a little tight this time which made an uneven burn.

Rock-A-Feller

Repeated review of the 2025 version. Small in size, but mighty in flavor. Full of dark coffee and pepper, with a slightly tight draw to it. The burn was decent on this one making a good quicker smoke.

Repeated review of one of the few candelas I enjoy. The flavor consists of creamy pepper and cedar, the the expected butter grass from many candelas. The burn was fantastic with a decent draw.

This is another great house blend. The profile is silky smooth with notes of wood and cocoa, not the retro will surprise you with a good hit of pepper. Construction is firm, draw is smooth, and the burn was almost perfect.

Second review. The flavor is dark and bold, full of espresso, dark chocolate, and black pepper - especially on the retro. The resistance was more open this time, still producing a lot of smoke.

Nearly duplicated review. A budget friendly & reliable smoke every time. The basic notes are wood & pepper with a little coffee on the backend. The burn is decent and the smoke output was again fantastic.

Repeated review of a great cigar. Wood, pepper, earth, and bold tobacco come to flavor. There's a slight tingle on the lips due to the candela ring on the cap. Exactly what you would expect from a cigar with this name. A great draw and very even burn.

Steel City Cigars

Second time with the shorter vitola. The flavor is full - consisting of red pepper, sweet spice, and wood tones. The smoke also gave way to some chocolate undertones. The pepper seems to come out a little stronger in this size as well.

A solid smoke for a house blend. The profile is full of wood tones and leather, with black pepper coming through on the retro. The construction is solid, providing a smooth draw and very clean burn line.

Definition

This makes for an interesting lancero. The flavor is full of molasses, black pepper, and cocoa. There's a little zing hanging at the back of the palate. The burn for a little wonky but it slowly corrected itself. Smooth draw overall.

This one is slap full of flavor! The draw has just a touch of resistance, which produces a good amount of smoke. The flavors consist of black pepper, wood, a floral undertone, and savory spice. The burn was very steady as well.

Unfortunately, the wrapper kept trying to peel off on this one so I had to hold it in place. The draw remained decent that way, but the burn was affected and needed a bit of help. In terms of flavor, this one had heavy wood tones with an odd mix of spices. The retro produced more of a red pepper note.

An interesting blend here I don't think I've had before. The draw was open and incredibly smokey, providing notes of heavy wood, pepper, and dried fruit. The burn would run at times but correct itself without help.

Consistent review yet again. The profile brings a sweet spice profile, yet the pepper intensity still blends well for an incredibly smooth body with wood notes and leather coming through. The draw and burn were both very acceptable this time around.

RoMa Craft

Repeated review, with the consistent fact that this cigar is always overpacked with an almost impossible draw. However, the flavor brings spices, leather, and some pepper. Somehow the burn remained even.

Second impression since receiving at NFG26. The construction was solid with a profile that brought out a full blend of nuts, wood tones, and a lingering sweet spice. On the retro, a little bit of red pepper comes through with a very smokey output.

Black Star Line

Continued review. There's an array of spices alongside a very heavy undertone of cedar with some pepper coming through on the retro. The draw is open with plenty of smoke, while the burn line stayed almost perfect.

Micallef

Acquired at NFG26, this has 14 months of rest on it. The flavor profile brought out leather with some heavy spices, blended with undertones of sweet cocoa. The draw had just a little resistance to it, and the burn was almost flawless.

Last time I smoked this blend two years ago, the burn was pretty rough. This time around the draw and burn were fantastic. Mostly nutty profile with hints of spice & mild pepper.

Drunk Chicken

Rated this at 72 when I first smoked it over a year ago. The flavor and burn we're both horrible, so I thought extra rest would help. Adding a year of rest definitely helped the draw and burn smooth out, but the flavor is still terrible. There's basically just fermented tobacco and almost no spice spice. The rating "improvement" is basically only due to good construction and burn.

RoMa Craft

Absolutely banger construction for a hear quick smoke. The firm roll enables a perfect draw and burn with no issues at all. Flavor notes consist of toasted vanilla with plenty of spice! A consistent cigar.

Second review after 2 months. The profile is full of dark bold flavor, consisting of coffee, earth, and pepper - everything you would expect in such a dark blend. The draw was very smooth, and the burn only needed no help this time.

The 2025 version was small in size, but mighty in flavor. Full of dark coffee and pepper, with a slightly tight draw to it. The burn was great especially for the small ring gauge. These always seem to hit great.

The Elevated Humidor

This cigar came from NFG26 and it's turned out to be an absolute flavor bomb! There's a heavy body of cedar and leather that lingers on the tongue, while various baking spices dance around as well. That spice comes through on the retro without being too intense. The draw has a nice resistance to it and the burn needed no corrections.

Duplicated review! A solid and consistently repeated review. The flavor on this one is slap full of dark chocolate and graham cracker sweetness. There are no harsh notes at all, and the oily wrapper enables a super smooth draw. Purchased at NFG25.

This is absolutely incredible! The blend is bold yet smooth, with deep notes of cocoa & cedar. Gentle pops of spice appear without getting bitter. The draw is very smooth with a great burn.

El Mago

This cigar had a lot more punch to it than expected. In terms of flavor, profile blends together notes of cedar, red pepper, coffee, and meaty spices. The construction is solid with a draw providing just a slight bit of resistance, while the burn only needed a single correction.

I let these sit a month since acquiring at NFG26, and I'm on the fence. The first two inches were nothing but bitter charred ash. Construction was solid and the draw was clean, so I kept it going. About halfway in, notes of dark coffee appeared with intense black pepper coming in the retro. The second half was good for sure, so I'll let the others sit awhile before revisiting.
