Ohana Nui

Duplicated review! A solid and consistently repeated review. The flavor on this one is slap full of dark chocolate and graham cracker sweetness. There are no harsh notes at all, and the oily wrapper enables a super smooth draw. Purchased at NFG25.

Ohana Nui

This is absolutely incredible! The blend is bold yet smooth, with deep notes of cocoa & cedar. Gentle pops of spice appear without getting bitter. The draw is very smooth with a great burn.

El Mago

This cigar had a lot more punch to it than expected. In terms of flavor, profile blends together notes of cedar, red pepper, coffee, and meaty spices. The construction is solid with a draw providing just a slight bit of resistance, while the burn only needed a single correction.

I let these sit a month since acquiring at NFG26, and I'm on the fence. The first two inches were nothing but bitter charred ash. Construction was solid and the draw was clean, so I kept it going. About halfway in, notes of dark coffee appeared with intense black pepper coming in the retro. The second half was good for sure, so I'll let the others sit awhile before revisiting.

Ohana Nui

First impressions introduced a somewhat oily wrapper that was firm to the touch. The profile brought out a fuller than expected blend of nuts, wood tones, and a lingering sweet spice. On the retro, a little bit of red pepper comes through with a very smokey output.

RoMa Craft

After multiple reviews, this one has proved consistent. review. The notes are of heavy chocolate mixed with citrus and wood, adding a strong pop of pepper as well randomly. The draw is super clean with a ton of smoke output.

RoMa Craft

A lot of cedar with a little cocoa and citrus blended in. The small vitola made for a quick easy smoke. The draw was a little too airy, but the burn and flavor stayed smooth.

Ezra Zion

My final single from the NFG24 version of this cigar. The profile leans mostly earthy & coffee in flavor. A simple cigar with a decent draw and burn. The cap cracked at the cut, so had to wrap repair before lighting.

Cavalier

Repeated review. Consistently, this would be rated higher but every one has burned very rough. At least the draw is open & airy. The profile consists of dark chocolate, leather, sweet vanilla, and a touch of clove.

Warfighter

Most of the cigar was full of spice and leather. The draw was open, as expected for lancero, while the burn kept waving all over the place. The longer the cigar burned, the more peppery it became.

Steel City Cigars

This is an incredibly dark & oily cigar. Full of bold flavors, including dark coffee, black pepper, and molasses. That pepper is intense on the retro, but everything stays clean without turning bitter. The draw produces a ton of smoke while the burn stays all but perfect.

The Elevated Humidor

Event special for NFG26, this turned out to be a pretty good smoke. There's a smokey wood undertone blended with some savory spices. The pepper hit really only shows up on the retro. Although the draw takes an extra puff to pull, the smoke is decent and the burn line is great.

Artista

Slap full of immediate dark chocolate with coffee undertones that last the entire cigar. The wrapper appearance is dark and slightly rustic, with a dry texture. With a super smooth draw and decent burn line, this cigar fills the pallet.

Definition

A nice twist on the Prolific! The sweet & creamy notes come through with added tones of wood and a ton of baking spices. The open draw allows for good smoke output and a very clean burn.

Rojas

This is an incredibly dark chocolate bomb, full of earth and pepper. At full strength, this blend hits all the senses. The intense pepper on the retro is insane. Solid construction, smooth draw with massive smoke output and a very decent burn line.

Black Star Line

This is an absolute bomb of baking spices! There's also a very heavy undertone of cedar with some pepper coming through on the retro. The draw is open, producing an absolutely massive amount of smoke, while the burn line stayed almost perfect.

Rock-A-Feller

The third iteration of the cigar is much darker than the previous two. The profile hits hard with notes of dark coffee and earth, with a subtle touch of dark chocolate underneath. On retro, there's an intense hit of pepper. The draw is incredibly open, producing a ton of smoke, with a very clean burn line.

OSOK

This one was full of dark gold flavor. The profile consisted of coffee, earth, and pepper - everything you would expect in such a dark blend. The draw was very smooth, and the burn only needed a single touch up.

Aganorsa Leaf

This turned out to be a pretty smooth cigar. The profile consists of mild cedar, some grassy notes, and a subtle blend of baking spices. The construction is tight, the draw is open, and the burn was very even.

Cavalier

The burn was a little wonky, but that was the only negative note about the cigar. Flavor profile consisted of leather, wood, and savory notes that left a little tingle on the tongue. Bits of pepper came through on the retro. The draw had just a slight resistance to it with decent smoke output.

Steel City Cigars

A great variant in the smaller size! Full with a lot of spice, consisting of red pepper, sweet spice, and wood tones. The smoke also presented a little bit of chocolate undertones. The pepper seems to come out a little stronger in this size.

Warped

This one was a little linear, with mostly wood tones coming through. The draw had a little too much resistance to it, but the burn stayed decent.

Repeated & duplicate review. This is a hold smoke with a unique blend that is complex. Clean construction, decent draw, and perfect burn. As of fan of darker cigars, this is definitely one to repeat.

Caldwell

A smooth cigar full of cocoa, leather, and sweet spice. The draw was smooth and open with a very decent burn.

Jake Wyatt

Follow up review, after the last time was subpar. Construction and burn are fantastic, now with a full 2 years since purchase. The flavors now work better than before, with a touch of earth and pepper. Some nuttiness randomly shows up as well.

Fortaleza y Libre

One of my favorite Connecticut cigars, and primarily because it does not really smoke like one. There's a strength underneath this cigar that is surprising, bringing out a lot of wood, coffee, and spice. The retro portrays a decent amount of pepper. A smooth draw with a decent burn.

Fortaleza Y Libre

Continued review. Super smooth notes of wood with pleasing hints of hay & grass. Pepper notes start light, but unlike last time, it builds up in intensity just a little bit. A clean open draw allowed for an even burn.

Ezra Zion

Continued review, 10 months rest now. The flavors seem to be very smooth now. The strength is minimal, but the flavors of bread and spice are blended well. A clean draw and burn throughout.

Cavalier

Repeated review. Very smokey output thanks to an open & airy draw. The profile consists of dark chocolate, leather, sweet vanilla, and a touch of clove. The burn tried to run a couple times on this one but easily corrected with a minor touch up from the torch.
