One of my favorites from Perdomo. Great flavor throughout, the draw was a little tighter than one normally gets from Nick and crew. The burn was great.....until the blowout going into the final ⅓. I'll stop here before I go into a rant. Lol

I don't think that Macanudo has a bad cigar in the Inspirado line. My favoritest (yep, that's a real word. Lol) is the Inspirado orange, but these whites rank right up there. Had graham cracker in the retrohale in the 1st half, with a little hay and wood mouth flavor. Going into the final ⅓, I got more wood and tobacco flavors, with a bit of spiciness on the retrohale. It also needed a hot purge at this point, because it was plugging up a bit. All-in-all, a very pleasurable smoke.

Excellent smoke! Good looking wrapper, solid construction, good burn. Excellent tobacco taste and room smell. It plugged up a bit at the ½way point, but a hot-purge cleared it right up. "Stack of dimes" practically the whole way. Going into the final⅓, picked up some faint floral notes on the retrohale. Kinda had graham cracker notes throughout. This is my 3rd time with these, and I will definitely buy more. Very enjoyable smoke.

This cigar was just simply poorly constructed! Upon light-up, I noticed a couple small voids visible in the foot. It was enjoyable for a few minutes, but then one of those small voids turned into a 4 lane tunnel! It never recovered and continued to get worse. I am currently exercising a lot of control in keeping this post "language " free. I seem to be getting a bunch of "problem" cigars from my B&M. No more! I will not purchase another cigar from that place!

These are one of my favorite "go-to " sticks. They never fail on construction, appearance, or flavor. The draw on this one was a bit tighter than usual, but not bad. Probably about a 7 on the Tim Swanson scale. After my last couple of cigar experiments, I felt the need to burn an old faithful today. Lol

It was a rough looking wrapper. It was a bit lumpy in spots, had several soft-spots/voids up near the cap. I also noted a few fine cracks in the wrapper, but the only one that opened up is in the picture. I had hints of espresso throughout the cigar. Had a pleasant tobacco smell/taste that lingered on the pallate, which I like. Overall, not a bad smoke, but certainly not worth the expense. I may try a VSG or ESG before I give up on the brand.

I recently discovered these cigars, and generally like them. This particular stick had a nice espresso flavor throughout, with some notes of chocolate here and there. The room smell was pleasant as well, with the espresso notes. Retrohale was also pleasurable with chocolate, espresso, and maybe some occasional cinnamon. Being a boxpressd stick, I expected to do some touch-ups, but this one took some work just before the last ⅓. Had to do some hot purging and I almost gave up at one point, because it almost became fireproof, lol I could feel that it had become very humid in the last⅓, but once I got it to relight, it was once again enjoyable all the way to a nub! I will always have an RP Decade in my humidor.

I like the abundance of good tobacco flavor from these smokes. On that subject, this thing put out a lot of smoke. The room smell was good, as was the flavor in the mouth and on retrohale. My major complaint is the construction: I normally use a V-cutter, the last "10" I smoked, the entire cap came off about an inch into the smoke, and it began unraveling! I immediately set it in the ashtray to die . I purchased 2 at the same time as the one I just mentioned. I let the 2nd one (the one I just smoked, rest in my humidor for another 3 weeks. These are hard sticks, with thick wrappers. I used a double guillotine cutter today, in an effort to avoid cutting through the sides of the cap. This proved more successful than the last stick, but I will note that the cap was getting loose by the end of the 2nd ⅓. While I do enjoy a few Drew Estate cigars, I find more and more lately, that I get poorly constructed sticks from them. It kinda hurts when you have to discard $10.00 sticks after barely smoking them.

Solid construction, great ash throughout. Did a hot purge going into the final⅓. I normally don't get a lot of flavors from cigars. However, on initial light up, I got straight up burning oak flavor. A few minutes in, still had oak, but was getting some other tastes that I can't quite put a name to. On the retrohale, I got very distinct Anise flavor. The anise flavor stayed as it smoked, but did lessen in the 2nd ⅓, and was non-existent in the final ⅓. In the 2nd ⅓, the strong oak flavor gave way to some notes of walnut. Those 2 wood notes stayed til the end. I also detected some butterscotch or caramel in the 1st half of the smoke. All in all, I've never experienced this many distinct flavors from a cigar. The burn was almost perfect, it was a nice tight construction, and solid tight light grey ash throughout. Kinda dried out the mouth though. (For those of you who took English Lit and French in high school, it was somewhat astringent. For those of us that took Auto-shop, Welding, and Machine shop, it gave me a bit of cotton-mouth. Lol)

Great cigars! Had to hot purge it going into the final⅓. Had to ding the appearance a little, due to a crooked cap and an ugly seam.

I smoke a lot of Connecticut shade and sungrowns. This Cameroon wrapper, while mellow , is a whole new flavor profile for me. The draw on this box press stick is light, probably a 4. It has some spice on the retrohale in the 1st ½" or so. At the halfway point, the retrohale has smoothed out considerably. I left the room and walked back in and smelled some chocolate. I can taste some chocolate and a bit of leather. Starting to get some pepper on the back of the throat. In the final⅓,I get a definite espresso flavor on the retrohale. The pepper has definitely mellowed at the back of the throat. Overall, an enjoyable smoke.
