CAO

Wrapper and foot have a subtle leather and earth aroma. Cold draw is molasses and chocolate. On light up I get earth, molasses, chocolate, and black pepper on the retrohale. Into the first third some cedar, baking spice, and cream fall in with the other notes. All notes are very smooth but bold. Notes hold into the second third with a hint of black licorice occasionally on the back end. Burn was somewhat uneven until about the halfway point then it straightened up. Smoke is thick, creamy, and abundant. The final third the licorice fades away and a dark roast coffee note comes in. This stick held flavor notes consistently from light up to the nub with only slight variations. I can see why this was a #3 in the top 25

CAO

Foot and wrapper have a dark earthy tobacco aroma. Cold draw has notes of dark roast coffee and leather. Definitely has leather on the lips. First draw is earthy with dark roast coffee with black pepper on the retrohale. Into the first third it holds the coffee, earth, and pepper but also brings in notes of walnuts and semi-sweet chocolate. Notes stay the same throughout the entire stick with only the intensity changing. Good solid smoke that produces a lot of smoke. Had to touch up the burn a few times but nothing serious.

Drew Estate

Aroma is of barnyard, cocoa, new leather and coffee. Cold draw has notes of nutty sweetness and hay with black pepper on the lips. First draw is earthy, cinnamon, charred oak, and pepper spice on the retrohale. Into the first third some dark roast coffee notes fall in and a sweet cashew creaminess tames the retrohale slightly. The second third holds the earthiness, coffee, charred oak, and pepper, but some leather, mineral, and cream appear. The nutty notes fade. The abundant smoke has a nice floral aroma. Draw seems a little tight but it's deceiving. When you let the smoke roll it seems like you took a double draw. It also develops some saltiness, which makes it a toffee like flavor profile. Final third carries the notes of the second third with the nuttiness returning. The pepper returns in full strength. A definite bite to the sinuses. Overall a great smoke. Definitely recommend if you like a stick that produces a ton of smoke

Perdomo

Has hay notes from wrapper and dark chocolate and slight raisin from foot. Cold draw has notes of dark chocolate, raisin, and a nice sweet tobacco flavor on the lips. First draw is dark coffe and dark chocolate with a good amount of red pepper on the retrohale. The aroma from the smoke has nice notes of chocolate. Into the first third the coffee and chocolate are most apparent but notes of cedar, oak, raisin, and earthy mineral. It also has a nice creamy smoke and the retrohale develops citrus notes. Second third carries similar notes but the coffee moves toward espresso and citrus notes fade. The chocolate moves toward milk chocolate with an addition of s'mores. It really takes on a campfire experience. Final third the espresso remains dominant with the other notes remaining and a citrus zest comes in. The pepper in the retrohale ramps up as well as the mineral on the back end. A very well balanced stick with an exceptional burn.

Drew Estate

Has a dark earthy and slightly sweet aroma also notes of hay. Cold draw has notes of sweet citrus, salty leather, and pepper spice. First draw is surprisingly smooth with white pepper, toasted oak, cocoa, and a nice black pepper on the retrohale. Also has a light sweetness on the retrohale, maybe even a bit floral. First third brings in a little leather, roasted peanut, dark coffee, and cedar on the retrohale while maintaining the initial notes. Smoke is thick, creamy, and abundant. Second third remains similar with some dark chocolate notes and a little more black pepper on the retrohale. It has great toasted oak notes and aroma. Final third holds the notes with the addition of a metallic note on the back end. This is a great stick but requires a serious time investment

Aroma is light notes of hay and tobacco sweetness. Cold draw notes are also light with cocoa, earth, black pepper, and hay. First draw is strong black pepper and spice overwhelming any other notes. Definitely will clear the sinuses. Luckily it mellows a bit into the first third. Pepper and spice still there on the back and retrohale. But notes of earth, dry hay, cocoa, coffee beans, and a hint of dark dried fruit sweetness come in. Has bit of leather on the lips. Second third mellows a bit more but but the flavors stay consistent. Final third doesn't change much except intermittent hints of citrus zest and the pepper and spice pick up a little. First impressions weren't great with the overwhelming pepper and spice but this stick is worth sticking it out. Has a good complexity and has a lot of thick smoke. Ash is pretty flaky in the first and second third. Overall a great stick

El Baton

Sweet flavor.

Espinosa

Cold draw has notes of oak and cocoa. First draw is very light, sweet, and smooth. After first draw the pepper notes come in, some cocoa, and a bit of leather. Has a nice sweetness on the lips. The pepper stands all the way through. The second third has some different spice notes and citrus. Final third has notes of fruit, caramel, and cocoa. This was a very complex and smooth smoke.

Karen Berger

The first third had a bitter woody flavor. Second third still has woody flavor but the bitterness subsides. Has a somewhat heavy draw until the last third. Last third is spongy but the peppery notes appear. Not abad stick but I probably won't buy another

Oliva

Cigar noob but I have found Oliva to be my go to so far. Very smooth and consistent flavor in this stick and paired well with a glass of rye whiskey. Didn't hold an ash for long is my only criticism
