I stopped posting here because I wasn't smoking anything new. Today I was bowled over by this double leaf stick. From the first puff to the last it delivered smoking pleasure. It had a rich dark coffee flavor with hints of dark chocolate in a fine earthy underguirding. The draw was easy and cool. The ash length was good with an even burn to the nub.
Good draw, good even burn. I wasn't expecting the sweet flavoring on the outside. Didn't like it, but I bought it not knowing it was a sweet smoke. Overall it's very mild, almost bland. Nothing particular jumped out at me. I would smoke again if some gave it to me free or I had no other choice. It's ok, just not exciting.
First timer with this stick. Unlit it smelled like wet hay. Appearance was smooth to the touch but with veins under the wrapper. Burned well with taste of oak and pepper. Other spices senced through retrohale but I can't put my finger on them. The oak persisted to the bottom with the pepper growing stronger until about the last 25%. Maybe i just got used to it. I did several touchups after the midpoint, but I was on the phone and would forget to take a draw, so its probably my fault.
A good stick that left me unsatisfied. Burned beautifully until the last third and then I couldn't keep it lit. Easy draw, smooth flavor. This is my first infused smoke. The esspresso taste came through but not over powering. I probably won't try again. It's good for what it is.
My local shop said they would stop carrying this stick. Bummer. It was smooth, burned evenly and didn't need touchups even though I would ignore it while answering email. Has a good wood taste with notes of cherry.
