Rocky Patel

A fairly smooth blend of wood & leather. There's a gentle spice that comes on the retro. Some nuttiness appears in the second half. Smooth draw, with a smokey output and decent burn.

Arturo Fuente

Repeated quick smoke. Still the same flavor notes of coffee & vanilla as the full sized vitolas. Great for a quicker smoke. The draw was clean, and the burn was as expected for such a thin size.

Cohiba

This is absolutely a fantastic cigar. There's not much pepper to this one, with only a little showing on the retro. This allowed for a very creamy flavor, although dry in texture, that mixed with bits of charred wood that reminded me of a campfire. The draw had perfect resistance to it that allowed the burn to stay fairly even.

Rocky Patel

A mild cigar with more body than expected. The flavor consists of toast & almond, with a decent amount of spice mixed in. That flavor lingers for awhile. The construction seems fairly firm, allowing for a very smoky draw and clean burn.

La Flor Dominicana

These always make for a dark and very oily cigar. The flavor profile consists primarily of leather, dark chocolate, and some baking spice. The draw is only a little soft, but this does not affect the burn, which stayed pretty level. An open draw makes for an easy enjoyable smoke.

Cuban Rounds

A budget smoke that fits the bill when needed. This version has a dark earthy tone to it with subtleties of coffee. No pepper appears on the pallette, but it does come through on the retro. Wavering burn, as expected with the short fillers, but the draw was actually fairly smooth.

TWM

Produced by JC Newman, this is a fairly smooth cigar from Total Wine. Medium bodied but rich tobacco joins with a slight nutty note. The draw is incredibly open, producing a good amount of smoke. With a very level burn, this cigar is a great budget smoke to pull out between other heavy smokes.
