I havent been a fan of Gurka in many years but this stick was kicking around in my humidor for a long time so I gave it a shot. Mistake, I should have just gave it away or thrown it away. I didn't even make it thru the whoile 1st third, it was bitter and harsh and well just bad

Excellent cigar, sort of a limited release, 50,000 cigar in 2023.
1st third - Starts with a woody/ cedar taste, earthiness and a touch of pepper all with a hint of sweetness.
2nd third - The sweetness fades and the wood stays but is mingled with pepper and a creaminess blended perfectly.
I have no Idea why the App is saying its a 70, I tried to score it a 90.
3rd third - Strength moved from medium to close to full. The pepper fades a bit and earthiness mingles with the creamy flavor. The wood has receded but is still in the backgroung while the sweetness picks up a bit.
Lots of complexity with perfect transitions.
For me this was a good but not great cigar. Great flavors thruout but not very complex. Sweetness, dark cocoa, spice, espresso, caramel, black cherry, and rich tobacco. Transitions between flavor were very abrupt, the only constant was the sweetness. The burn needed a couple touch ups but other than that construction was very good.
Excellent cigar, definitely a full flavor smoke. Not pretty, but it was designed to be that way.
1st third - Pepper earthiness, cocoa, nuts, cream, spice and sweetness all blended together perfectly.
2nd third - The sweetness and cocoa amped up with chocolate, nuts and creaminess backing it up.
3rd third - Sweetness and cream take off with bold cocoa, nuts, coffee and earthiness.
A very complex smoke with smooth transitions. I cant believe this is the first time I smoked one of these!
A really good cigar, I learned that starting with an shallow V cut for the 1st third and then a guillotine cut after that and the flavors really shine.
1st third - Dark chocolate, bitter espresso, black pepper, leather and oak flavors.
2nd third - coffee, cinnamon, sweetness came to the front as the other flavors receded and blended in with the new,
3rd third - Spice showed up and the sweetness increased. All the other flavors blended perfectly while easing up.
Amazing cigar, extremely well balanced with tons of transitions and nuance.
1st third - Black pepper, spice, bitter chocolate, leather, cedar and hints of cedar.
2nd third - Dark chocolate replaced the bitter, pepper receded some then vanilla and nuttiness joined in.
3rd third - Espresso flavors came in with cocoa replacing the chocolate with leather and spice coming back to the front.
One of my favorite cigars for many years.
1st third - Coffee, dark chocolate, spice and earthiness.
2nd third - reg chocolate, leather, cocoa joined the spice as the earthy flavor and the coffee faded some.
3rd third- Bitter chocolate replaced the reg, the coffee came back with the earthiness and hints of wood.
Extremely well balanced smoke with very smooth transitions.
1st third - Pepper, leather and coffee from the 1st puff. Good smoke production when puffing and almost none when sitting.
2nd third - Flavors from the 1st softened and nut, citrus and cedar became more prominent.
3rd third - Leather coffee and spice moved up and the pepper came back up.
Well balanced flavors but the complexity of transitions wasn't really there.
1st third -Chocolate, almond, spice, pepper and earthiness. Great smoke production.
2nd third -The chocolate, almond and pepper receded and Coffee, caramel, wood and some creaminess showed up.
3rd third -Leather and coffee moved to the front and the other flavors dropped off except the pepper.
All around great smoke, I have to admit I love most of Roma Craft's cigars. The Aquataine is a full bodied smoke with a great flavor profile. Coffee, Cedar, pepper and spice are the primary tastes. Blended to perfection so it's very smooth with multiple transitions of different tastes to the forefront. There is a smokey sweetness that really pulls it all together.
A great cigar if you let it rest in your humidor for 3+ months. I know thats not a real option for many Sadly. Right out of the gate a flavor bomb. Spice, pepper, coffee, wood, leather and some vanilla sweetness. Smooth transitions of different flavor from background to the front and back again.
If your looking for a full bodied, high nicotine but smooth smoke, you can't go wrong with this one. Dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee and cedar all starting with the 1st puff. Wide open draw and an inch in the pepper kicks hard. This stick isn't the most complex smoke, it's just has for me a great flavor profile.
A decent stick especially for how little I paid on CBID. Lots of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, nuts and a sweetness. Solid medium that moved towards full in the second half.
My first one of these, medium bodied, very smooth profile. Earthy, nutty with hints if cocoa and coffee bean. Ton of smoke for such a small stick. Not as sweet of a tip as the other sisters. Good complexity with smooth gradual flavor shifts.
Really good smoke! Starts out with cocoa and pepper with hints of wood (cedar maybe). The 2nd 3rd a creamy flavor started that really amped up the cocoa flavors. The burn was all over the place but that seems to happen w/ box pressed (at least for me. Solid medium profile, a little softer than my normal but the flavors were great. Half-way thru a fruity sweetness came in. The final 3rd all the flavors amped up except the pepper, lots of complexity and flavor shifts.
