Purchased in St Thomas last month. This blend is full of cedar and a lot of baking spice. Black pepper comes in strong on the retro. The draw is open, producing a ton of smoke and enabling a very even burn line. The flavors longer on the palate for a good while.
Creamy with notes of cedar baking spice and light chocolate. Draw was a tad open. Cracked a bit when cut even though humidity was spot on. Construction looked a little rough to be honest. Good smoke production regardless and no enjoyable smoke. I would trying again.
Nice cigar, well built. Dark, oily wrapper. Good draw. Burn ok, needed a few touch ups. Grey, solid ash. Consistent flavor throughout. Strong, not too overwhelming. Will buy it again
Somewhat surprising. This is my first stick in this brand. The wrapper appears to be rolled by a novice using leaf parts. The cap cracked into pieces when cut. However, I don't put my cigars on display, I smoke'em so I more interested in taste and burn. The taste stated of on the light side with nothing distinctive, but by the second and third I was tasting citrus, nuts and a bit of chocolate which caught me by surprise given the start. The smoke was rich and the ash held strong to the last third which needed a few touchups, but I was reading financial stuff and probably ignored it too much. Ignoring the looks and the shattered cap it was a good evening smoke. No rain made it even better. (See my last smoke.)
