Maduro

The cigar "way back machine" is running again. I got a 20 pack of these back in 2011-2012 for free from someone, can't remember which friend regifted them to me. I vaguely remember smoking 1 and thinking... why? Years and humidor space later these got moved to a coolidore and I figured I'd give 1 a shot. Aging definitely helped, no longer a waste of time but also nothing to write home about. At $2 ea online today this is yet another yard smoke. Something to puff on while mowing. Hints of chocolate, coffee, wood and leather. No bitterness and a short finish. Basic decent smoke on the cheap.

All & all a decent cigar. Smokes well, good draw, notes of natural tobacco, some raisin-like sweetness on the retro. Solid stick for the price.
