TL;DR - white pepper over a mild wood and leather core. A classic smoke that draws you back again and again. Worthy of its 96 rating and cigar of the year, 2012. Recommended 👍 Aged 13 mos, dry-boxed 12 hours ⏳️ Light-up is easy 👌 Goldilocks construction and draw. Initial impressions: white pepper developing over a mild wood core. A bit of leather comes and goes in the beginning. Halfway through the smoke is leathery, and a significant crack appears in the wrapper. Linear and extremely well balanced. Medium nuanced flavors and medium nicotine. Pairing: I think just about anything you like. A keeper.
Much stronger cigar. Excellent draw and burn. First third of the cigar was not so obvious for me in terms of flavours. For sure there was vanilla, carmel and spice. These notes got a little bit stronger and more spicy as the smoke went on. Somewhere near the half of the cigar almond notes started to kick in stronger and stronger with every puff of the cigar. At 2/3 of cigar there were basically the only notes that I could sense. I did not expected that but I must admit - it was a very tasty and pleasant surprise.

Another gift but not a bad smoke. Hint of pepper at the light. Burn went awry at beginning but corrected itself. Ash held for more than half the stick, dark gray. Creamy with very light notes of cedar and leather.
Unfortunately this one was cut short due to rain, guess I should have kept a better watch on the forecast. At least it wasn’t an expensive stick but still one I hate to cut short.
A super smooth medium body smoke, mostly pulling of sweet tobacco, cedar, and light pepper. The draw was airy at first light, but molded into a consistent solid draw. The burn was a little wavy but stayed generally even throughout the smoke. This is a unique cigar that will be worth revisiting.
