Another surprising transformation after a year of rest. I guess it's true you have to sample them at different points too find the sweet spot. Would smoke again with the extented rest
Firm construction decent draw. Smoke production was a little light. One year of aging has greatly improved the flavors. Leather and floral notes with some oak and light cedar. Very linear. If you pick these up I'd recommend at least 9 months of aging before smoking
9 months of aging has been done wonders for this blend. Rich coffee and red pepper with some chocolate. Ash held at an inch and a half. Beautiful nickels with a slight wave. Firm construction with a nice draw.
What a shame such inconsistenty within a brand. Burn was terrible and flavor harsh. I have 3 more and not sure if I will just throw them out. I love the double maduro ligero. This is just a real disappointment.
I was really excited for these but are disappointing. Loose roll with firm construction seems weird. Flavor is straight leather no nuance. I am usually a fan of any oscuro wrapper. Not this. 3 months aging maybe they will age better.
