Smoked Jul 17, 2023 for 1 hr 28 mins
Scored my first goal in hockey tonight, so I decided to smoke something I don't get very often. We lost the game, so it's not a victory smoke, but I have to celebrate the personal achievement. Paul does such a fantastic job with his cigar blends. This one has a delicious cedar flavor with a leathery earthiness and some caramel sweetness. It's the closest thing I've had to a real Cuban cigar that's sold in the US. Great construction, the draw is perfect. The burn runs slightly when drawn to quickly, but is easy to even itself out with long, slow draws. The wrapper has a bit of that stitched appearance from the veins on the leaf with an oily Colorado reddish brown hue. The ash drops every inch to an inch and a half. Phenomenal cigar by a phenomenal cigar maker. If you find P.G. near you, do yourself a favor and grab one. You won't regret it.
