TL;DR - an exquisite smoke. Mostly Cedar, coffee and hazelnut. The Nougat retro in the finish is seriously cool 😎 Recommended 👍 Aged 16 mos, dry-boxed 4.5 hours ⏳️ Light-up is easy 👌 Goldilocks construction and draw. Initial impressions: cedar and coffee to start. Hazelnut makes an appearance later in the smoke. Leather and caramel in the last third, and the Nougat finish at the end saves this otherwise linear cigar. Mixed baking spices show up in the long finish. Burn 🔥 is excellent. Amongst the best I've encountered in this regard. Medium flavors and medium nicotine. Pairing ideas: whiskey and scotch seem obvious.

Very consistent. You really can't go wrong with these if you you enjoy the chocolate notes. Burn and draw have been impeccable each time. I'm sure these have been reviewed at nausem but they are a good cigar

Nice cigar. Repeat review. I enjoy these and stocked up on them before having the maduro version. Not sure what I was thinking as I love maduros. These are good but the maduro is great. Not complaining but sometimes you get ahead of yourself.

A rich cocoa nibs flavor, followed by notes of cedar, coffee beans, gritty earth, cinnamon and a small amount of citrus peel. The red pepper is strong enough to make an impact on the profile, especially when combined with the milk chocolate sweetness that is very much present.

Very nice lancero, well rolled. Somehow soft to the touch, but it did burn just fine and had a very good draw, too. Classic Oliva V flavors: wood, cedar, chocolate… a treat!

Fantastic cigar: beautiful wrapper, a few veins, almost seamless. Sweet raisin in the cold draw. Good draw from the start, plenty of creamy smoke. Cedar and chocolate in the first third, some black pepper, a proper flavor bomb. Gets stronger in the sections third, leather and coffee notes take over. Strength stays in the last third, with earthy, leather finish. A winner!

I V-cut this Double Toro 6x60 soft box pressed beauty! There are a couple veins on the surface, seams are nearly invisible, very light tooth, and a nice oil sheen to this tasty Sumatra wrapper. I am an inch into the 1st third and the draw is a little on the loose side (4/10, 10= plugged). Burn line is razor sharp and the ash is tight and white. Smoke is cool and copious, medium + strength and bidy. Great notes of banking spice and coffee on the pallete and retrohale. Toasted caramel and Mexican chocolate. Moderate finish and a light cream smoke texture. In the 2nd third the strength gains a notch. There is a delicious tobacco sweetness on the front of the palette with light coffee, toasted caramel and slight mesquite note. The retrohale brings a light pepper to the back of the throat and a baking spice sweetness. Construction is impeccable. The ash is nearly 2 inches long and the burn line is slightly wavy. So far flavor is steady as a rock, smoke is cool and finish is moderate with a creamy smoke texture. Here at the very start of the final third I need to slow my pace. I can feel the cigar beginning to warm up a full finger below the burn line. I am getting a delicious cinnamon note on the retrohale and toasted caramel, coffee and a faint oak on the palette. The cigar has cooled down a little now and the burn line is perfect once again. Construction on this stick is magnificent. Medium + strength and body. The toasted caramel is still there along with the coffee and mesquite notes. Cinnamon note on the retrohale with a light pepper on the back of the throat. Chewy smoke texture and a long finish. Half way through the final third and the strength just rocketed to full power. Coffee and mesquite are the main tones on the palette. Toasted caramel, baking spice and mesquite are heavy on the retrohale. Overall this has been a fantastic smoke all the way to the nub that will be a frequent visit in my rotation.
