3 - Buy a five-packer This is one of the first blends that I smoked many moons ago. Its one that I had held on a pedestal and was concerned a future smoke wouldn't live up to it. Welp, it did fall a bit in my eyes, however not too much. I do love the blend, however the Senator is feel is a better vitola. Pretty strong chocolate, and the pepper drops off pretty quick after the first third. I also feel like it almost has a baby powder profile to it. Ive gotten this on a few other cigars and I'm not sure what to make of it. My only other real complaint is that the packing on this feels very light. It's a smoke machine for how light it is, rich and velvety smooth, but it has light pack. 6 - Life is too short. Had really bad construction issues. At 63% RH the thing wouldn't stay lit. I feel the higher humidity made this feel very bitter. 5 - One & done. Nice looking cigar. Damn peppery on the retro, about blew my socks off. Taste earth, leather. Was hoping for some chocolate notes but I didn't get any. The draw was great for a lancero but at 62% rh, plus the crazy high humidity outside, it went out twice. I need to start dry boxing for a day or so ahead.
