This cigar is incredibly satisfying from the very first puff. It's aptly named, as you definitely get a creamy vanilla flavor right from the start—crème brûlée is a fitting title. I was initially hesitant about trying a smaller ring gauge than I was accustomed to, but it turned out to be just fine; it didn't feel like there was any drawback to the size.
The first third maintained a sweet vanilla flavor with something else, though I couldn't identify it. Some people noted a floral taste, but couldn’t pinpoint it. However, everything was well-balanced and not overpowering.
For the second third, I broke out some cream soda, which I felt enhanced the experience. The vanilla flavor became more pronounced, and there was a very subtle hint of pepper. I smoked the entire cigar down to the very end. It was excellent and definitely a different kind of Connecticut cigar.
Enjoyed this cigar. For the price, an even more solid choice. Really came alive during the 2nd third. Got some fun licorice notes in the final third. Plenty of pepper and spice.
