Ashton Churchill
Smoked on a covered porch, very little breeze. Drinking water.
Nice amount of moisture, no cracking or crumbling, easy to light and stayed lit the whole time. Light but pleasant smell, slightly oily wrap, and a springy feel when squeezed.
Very easy draw
Incredibly mild flavor. Woody and a bit of coffee.
Smooth/velvety smoke
Average ash - didn’t hang on as long as expected
Burn was relatively even but did need a fair number of touchups considering it was not windy
Light/mellow nicotine
Second half was much fuller. Spice and flavor starts to come through and smoke becomes slightly harsher though still very smooth. More leather notes towards the end.
1 hour 40 minutes smoke time, 1.75” left.
3.5/5 - probably would not smoke again if given a choice. Bit boring.
First cigar ever. Didn’t care for it too much, but my pallet is obviously not developed yet. Got a little creamy flavor, but very mild. When I started drinking coke, no flavor change. Started drinking moscato, all I could taste from the cigar after that was smoke.
